Our Licensing Programme

Our Trainer Licensing Programme offers organisations & individuals the opportunity to build in-house capability to deliver our course(s) to their employees, students & customers independently under license from KiwiHost Limited. This empowers passionate professionals with a pathway to become certified trainers in delivering our renowned development programmes such as Service Excellence, Dealing with Difficult Customers & De-escalating Difficult Situations.

How does a trainer license work?

A training license is a contractual agreement that allows an individual or organisation to deliver a specific training programme.

Here’s how it works;

  • Agreement with provider – Licensing Agreement which includes payment terms, typically consisting of an up front fee for the training to be able to deliver, an annual fee and materials payments. We will also include the length of license, regional boundaries and process for renewal
  • Access to training materials – Course content, materials and manual to be able to deliver the programme as well as branding/marketing to materials to support awareness
  • Training & certification – Train the trainer programme to bring the facilitator up to speed on the content, ground rules, practice delivery, organise programmes and accreditation
  • Quality control & compliance – Regular monitoring of the quality of delivery through effective reporting, as well as support with ensuring any material belonging to the provider meets the relevant standards and branding guidelines

A training license allows the licensee to leverage an established brand, curriculum, and reputation, reducing the time and resources needed to develop a new programme. It also provides them with the control and freedom to deliver the programme how and when they should like.

Training licenses can be highly beneficial when both parties are aligned on quality standards, values, and objectives, leading to a mutually beneficial partnership that enhances learning and development opportunities.

What is the process for becoming a Licensee?

It is really important that any prospective facilitator or organisation looking to license a trainer to have all the relevant information to hand to ensure that this is the right opportunity for them.

Typically, trainers or organisations will be familiar with KiwiHost either by having direct experience of the programme(s) we deliver or have been recommended.

The process of becoming licensed from there is very simple;

  1. We share an example licensing agreement and pre-course information so stakeholders understand what’s involved up front.
  2. Trainers will receive all relevant training materials and attend the trainer licensing programme so they can deliver the programme themselves, upon completion trainers will then be accredited.
  3. The licensing agreement is signed, at which point the trainer is able to start delivering the programme.
