KiwiHost New Zealand is pleased to announce the appointment of one of the country’s most experienced training sector leaders, Jared Brixton, as Joint Managing Director and shareholder of the organisation.
The former marketing director of Champagne Consultants and then Training Solutions Plus (after the NZX listed Australian company bought out Champagne Consultants), Jared plans to build on KiwiHost’s position as New Zealand’s premier provider of customer service training and standards.
“Being Christchurch born and raised, I jumped at the opportunity to return home to assume a shareholding position with KiwiHost, to be able to make a real contribution to the organisation’s ongoing impetus. It’s a good match of skills and the organisation has enormous potential to help other businesses give Kiwis great customer service,” he said.
Jared will initially be involved in marketing and business development and plans to put in place strong marketing initiatives in Christchurch and the South Island before expanding his activities nationally.
It is a role he is ideally equipped for, having helped Champagne Consultants to grow to the third largest training enterprise in New Zealand as a provider of choice to a number of large corporates and government departments.
At Training Solutions Plus, Jared worked out a management contract handling marketing for the entire group of companies across both New Zealand and Australia. His trans-Tasman experience, combined with having worked and lived in a number of New Zealand cities, means Jared has a good grasp on what appeals to people in all areas of New Zealand.
Joint Managing Director of KiwiHost New Zealand, Simon Nikoloff, welcomed Jared’s appointment as the next logical step for an organisation which already has iconic status in New Zealand, but is ready to expand its offering and influence in helping to transform customer service levels in New Zealand.

When not involved with KiwiHost New Zealand, Jared markets and manages the New Zealand Institute of Management (NZIM) Business Challenge (a business simulation in which teams or individuals compete against each other in running a fictitious company).
A family man – he is married to Antoinette and they have two children, Isabella (9) and Zach (4) - Jared still enjoys putting on the rugby boots and picking up a tennis racket when time permits.
